Aviation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Disassembly Technician to join our team at CARSTAR Canada Partnership, LP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, and assessing vehicles for additional or hidden damage.
Key Responsibilities- Disassemble vehicles after the initial estimate and inspect all vehicles for internal structure and parts from the initial inspection.
- Document and record additional damage and required parts on a damage report.
- Notify the Estimator regarding supplements based on additional damage/parts discovered.
- Assist the Metal Technician with reassembly upon completion of the repair, as needed.
- Perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner that does not expose yourself or other employees to unnecessary risk of injury.
- Attend daily release meetings.
- Prior knowledge of blueprinting or disassembly experience is preferred.
- I-CAR, or other industry training is preferred.
- Prior experience with hand tools used for vehicle disassembly is required.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision is essential.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record are required.
Exposure to paint, fumes, and particles, dirt/dust, varying heat/cold.
