About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at McDonald's. As a Food Service Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
    • Package take-out food and prepare food for customers to-go.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and sanitized, adhering to health and safety standards.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Restock condiments, utensils, and other supplies as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that customers receive prompt and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Will train.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Overtime required.
    • Physically demanding.
    • Repetitive tasks.
    • Standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 36 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be willing to relocate.
