Head Chef

At Jessy's Pizza, we're dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences for our customers. We're seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in meal planning, inventory management, and staff training.

The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the entire food preparation process, from menu planning and ordering supplies to preparing meals and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Menu Planning and Preparation:
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse customer tastes and dietary requirements
  • Estimate food requirements and order supplies accordingly
• Kitchen Operations:
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Staff Training and Development:
  • Train new staff members on food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures
  • Continuously evaluate and improve kitchen processes to optimize efficiency and quality

The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. A strong understanding of food safety regulations and experience in meal planning and inventory management are essential.

• Candidates Must Possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a head chef or senior kitchen manager
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A proven track record in meal planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in culinary arts or hospitality management
  • Food safety certifications (e.g., HACCP, Food Safety Manager Certification)
