Automotive Detailer Position

Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada Universal Collision Center Inc. Full time

The Detailer will be responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior surfaces of service, and body shop vehicles; as well as new and used inventory in a safe and efficient manner.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Operating pressure washers, vacuum, and other detailing equipment to clean automobiles in a safe manner to dealership expectations
  2. Vacuuming all interior surfaces, spot-cleaning textile stains, and cleaning solid surfaces
  3. Performing minor body repair of scratches and blemishes using buffers and/or wet sanders
  4. Keeping the detail area clean and orderly
  5. Attending periodic production meetings as needed or directed by managers

Requirements for this position include:

  • A valid driver's license and ability to operate an automobile with a clean driver's abstract
  • Availability to work evenings and Saturdays
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an asset
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs
  • Demonstrated self-motivation with strong problem-solving abilities
  • This position requires kneeling, bending and standing for extended periods of time, and requires individuals to obtain CSA certified steel-toe boots
