Job Title: Automotive Detailer

At Universal Collision Center Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Automotive Detailer will be responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate pressure washers, vacuums, and other detailing equipment to clean vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Vacuum all interior surfaces, spot-clean textile stains, and clean solid surfaces.
  • Perform minor body repair of scratches and blemishes using buffers and/or wet sanders.
  • Keep the detail area clean and orderly.
  • Attend periodic production meetings as needed or directed by managers.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to operate an automobile with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an asset.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • This position requires kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods of time and requires individuals to obtain CSA-certified steel-toe boots.
