Payroll Administrator Position

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team at EightSix Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, setting up and maintaining employee information, and ensuring accurate data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including new hires, terminations, rate changes, and garnishments.
- Set up and maintain employee information in payroll and scheduling software.
- Audit payroll to guarantee data entry accuracy and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Monitor and process appropriate forms for hourly employees, such as overtime, vacation, and sick pay.
- Perform year-end payroll reconciliations, including T4 and T4A.
- Process employee termination documents and calculate final pay.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support with benefit programs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of payroll administration experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Successful completion of Canadian Payroll Association PCP certification is an asset.
- Experience working with time and attendance systems, Ceridian Dayforce preferred.
Working Conditions
- Office environment.
- Mostly sitting with some standing and walking.
- Close visual acuity required to prepare and analyze data and figures.
