Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

At DRITECH WALLS AND CEILINGS LTD, we are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Work setting: Construction, Various locations, Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair.

  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
