Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Aldergrove Mobile Home Park. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for constructing and installing steel studs and other materials to build residential structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites, instruct apprentices, and supervise other workers
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
