Job Summary

CAN STATES EXPRESS inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and communication.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring safe and secure handling.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • AZ class license.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
