About the Position

We are seeking an Academic Advisor for Career Services to join our team at the University of Niagara Falls Canada. As an Academic Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success of our students, while also contributing to the development of career services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote academic success and career readiness among our students.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide resources and support for students, including academic advising, career coaching, and mentorship.
  • Develop and deliver workshops, seminars, and other programs to support student learning and career development.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with a strong background in academic advising and career services.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in academic advising and career services, preferably in a post-secondary setting.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in academic advising and career services, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with additional education and training considered an asset.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in academic advising and career services, preferably in a post-secondary setting.
  • Experience in areas related to academic advising, career services, and student support.
