About the Role

We are seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY ELK POINT. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced food environment and possess strong leadership skills. They will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining quality control standards, and ensuring that all operational procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work approximately 30-44 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
