About the Job

Premium Modern Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for building and renovating residential structures, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential structures, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
