About the Role
  • The specimen collection process involves greeting patients, requesting required information, explaining the process, and ensuring patients follow necessary test protocol prior to collection.
  • Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings.
  • Special test collections include medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, and clinical trials, with related documentation completion.
What You Will Bring
  • A graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent is preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience is an asset.
  • Good computer skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
