Data Management Leadership Position

Grainger Businesses is seeking a highly skilled Manager Data professional to lead our Process Improvement, Compliance & Training, Field Ops team. This role will oversee the development and implementation of end-to-end standard work processes, ensuring compliance with ISO standards. As a leader, you will establish and maintain business processes required for the execution of business strategies, collaborating with project stakeholders and subject matter experts.
The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of related operational experience leading a distributed workforce with process improvement, training and communications. Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience is also required. Proven skills in time management, prioritization, and problem-solving are essential. Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), are necessary for success in this role.
This position requires strong leadership qualities, good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. You will drive accountability among team members and operations, ensuring they function at set standards. Experience with relevant computer applications and Grainger systems/processes, including data entry (SAP, SOE, SharePoint, Salesforce), is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the development and implementation of end-to-end standard work processes in compliance with ISO standards.
- Establish and maintain business processes required for the execution of business strategies.
- Lead cross-functional partners to support a standard work map that considers process flows outside of the Field Ops network.
- Own the Field Ops SharePoint pages and guide the team to upload new and decommission old documents.
- Own the internal branch audit process (BBX) to ensure all branch processes relating to order management and financial accountability are upheld and meet required standards.
- Lead the National Consignment program ensuring compliance to standard work across sales and customers.
Grainger Businesses offers an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience. The company also provides medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, paid time off (PTO), and up to 12 company holidays per year. Work EnvironmentThe selected candidate will be part of a dynamic and supportive team environment. Travel may be required – 20%+ travel to various customer sites and branch locations nationally.
