We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our international taxation efforts. As Director, International Taxation, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on cross-border transactions, tax planning, and risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax strategies for international transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across CIBC to identify and mitigate tax risks.
- Provide guidance on tax planning, transfer pricing, and international tax compliance.
- Contribute to the development of the Global Minimum Tax compliance framework.
Requirements:
- CPA designation or Bachelor of Laws degree.
- At least 5 years of tax experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Excel and experience with tools like Alteryx and Microsoft Power BI.
