Job Title: Childcare Provider

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Provider to join our team at Tong SHEN. As a key member of our household team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping.
  • Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment at home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols and regulations.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring our children receive the best possible care.
  • Supervise and care for the child, providing individualized attention and support.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of the child, offering comfort and reassurance when needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma (3 months to less than 1 year)
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
  • License/Certification: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Commute/Relocate: Must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Vaughan, ON (L6A 4K3) before starting work
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Medical exam
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, Patience
