The Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) is seeking a seasoned Executive Director to lead the organization in its mission to elevate condominium management in Ontario. As the voice of condominium management in the province, ACMO requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of the condominium management industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive membership growth, educational leadership, and brand awareness.
- Conceive and deploy strategies to expand the size and reach of ACMO's professional condominium management community throughout Ontario.
- Execute best-of-class programming, including educational opportunities, events, and professional designations.
- Develop and execute effective marketing and communication strategies to drive member engagement and understanding of the ACMO value proposition.
- Manage and optimize day-to-day operations, including financial performance and organizational objectives.
- Promote and advocate for ACMO, its members, and the industry, maintaining effective relationships with government agencies, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce/business management or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of senior management experience, preferably within a membership association.
- Success working with volunteer boards and committees.
- Strong business management, human relations skills, and financial acumen.
- Marketing, promotional, public relations, and sales experience.
- Outstanding written, presentation, and communication skills.
- Skilled at relationship building and comfortable working with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in delivering effective plans to increase membership value and grow membership.
- Government relations experience, preferably in professional and industry regulation.
- Understanding of condominium management and condominium life in Ontario is an asset.
- Technologically proficient (MS Office, website, social media, etc.).
