We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Storwick Dermatology.

About the Role

This is a temporary position with an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 30-40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hospital facilities, including offices, patient rooms, and public areas
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean upholstered furniture
  • Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closets and clean kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Handle lost and found items and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Address customer complaints and concerns
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a hospital setting with potential exposure to cleaning chemicals and potentially hazardous materials.
