About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner Assistant to join our team at Klean Janitorial Ltd. As a Light Duty Cleaner Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Job Summary
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
  • Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Responsibilities
  1. Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  2. Dust furniture, including ceiling fixtures and air vents.
  3. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  4. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  5. Handle and report lost and found items.
  6. Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  7. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • The position requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.

Estimated Salary Range

$18-$22 per hour, depending on experience and location.
