Quality Control Manager Job Description

Control Tech Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for supervising, implementing, and monitoring our quality control and assurance programs and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control plans for instrumentation and electrical construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports and communicate findings to project stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety and quality guidelines.
  • Evaluate the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with procurement and project management to address quality-related issues with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality awareness and skills of construction teams.
  • Investigate and analyze the root cause of quality issues and recommend corrective action to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with clients, addressing any quality concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a quality manager.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Knowledge of installation and commissioning procedures.
  • Knowledge of equipment used to perform these activities.
  • BSc/Ba in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in instrumentation and electrical construction and maintenance.
