The part-time Quality Manager position is responsible for supervision, implementation, and monitoring of Control Tech's quality control and assurance programs and activities covering all aspects of the Quality Manual. This includes understanding customers' needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. The successful candidate will develop and implement quality control plans for instrumentation and electrical construction projects, conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards, and collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly. The Quality Manager will maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions, prepare detailed quality reports, and communicate findings to project stakeholders and management. Additionally, the Quality Manager will ensure all construction activities adhere to safety and quality guidelines, evaluate the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors, and collaborate with procurement and project management to address quality-related issues with suppliers and subcontractors. The Quality Manager will also develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality awareness and skills of construction teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within Control Tech. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a quality manager, be proficient in MS Office and ERP systems, have an in-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legislation, and knowledge of installation and commissioning procedures. A BSc/Ba in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field is required, as well as a minimum of 10 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical construction and maintenance.
