Job Opportunity:

Canada Post is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Post Office Assistant. This is a temporary, on-call position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell postal products and services to businesses and individuals
  • Sort, distribute, and process mail in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery and service issues
  • Work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in business administration
  • Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment
  • Understanding of general or post office accounting systems
  • Physical ability to lift mail containers, push or pull boxes, and stand for extended periods

Additional Information:

This position may be considered a safety-sensitive position and requires additional requirements under Canada Post's Substance Use Policy.

Selected candidates will be required to complete a security screening process.
