About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Scorpion Road Link Inc. as a Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, laws, and company policies, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and other accounting software; excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and overtime required.
