We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Fire Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Community and Technical Support unit, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on fire safety and building codes.
About the Role:
This is a full-time permanent position with a standard weekly work schedule of 36.25 hours. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement safety codes and standards that protect the health and safety of Albertans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain knowledge of provincial codes and standards related to fire safety and building codes
- Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on fire safety and building codes
- Collaborate with the PFA and Fire Sub Council to ensure consistency and accuracy in fire protection standards and systems
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire safety and building codes
