About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Design Specialist to join our team in the Fire Suppression Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing automated fire sprinkler systems and preparing drawings in accordance with current codes.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed drawings considering architectural, structural, and mechanical plans using AutoCAD and HydraCAD systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades for project coordination.
- Ensure compliance with current codes and standards.
- Develop estimates and quotes for sales team.
- Participate in project meetings and site surveys.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in fire protection design.
- Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Design, or High School diploma with equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency in computer-assisted design with AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Revit design and HydraCAD.
