Job Title: Rural Adult Mental Health and Substance Use Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rural Adult Mental Health and Substance Use Worker to join our team at the Ashcroft Hospital & Health Centre.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and treatment skills, with a human-centered and relationship-focused approach to practice. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to ensure adults with serious mental disorders and/or substance use have access to responsive, sensitive, and relevant assessment and treatment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with community partners to coordinate services and support
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
