Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, maintenance management, and team leadership. They will be responsible for ensuring efficient product flow through the production process, achieving quality requirements, and optimizing resource utilization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining ISO certification and promoting a culture of quality within the production department.
  • Participating in strategic planning and guiding principles development to align with the UniFirst mission statement.
  • Communicating customer and supplier requirements effectively throughout the production department and other corporate departments.

In addition, the successful candidate will:

  • Develop and maintain an effective employee relations program, including recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to safety, health, and environmental issues.
  • Promote a positive work environment by treating employees with dignity, respect, and encouraging their involvement in problem-solving.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including:

  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Benefits such as RRSP matching, profit sharing, health insurance, employee assistance program, life insurance, supplemental life insurance, long-term disability, vacation time, sick leave, paid holidays, direct payroll deposit, tuition reimbursement, and 30% employee discount.
