We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at ALBERTA LTD. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Order merchandise, authorize returns, and establish work schedules to ensure that the store is running smoothly.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff, ensuring that they are meeting their responsibilities.
- Manage cash and conduct performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their targets.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 35 to 40 hours per week.
