We are seeking an experienced Manager of Special Education Services to join our team at Making Waves Academy. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of special education law and practice, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of special education programs for students with IEPs or 504 plans.
- Supervise and evaluate special education staff, including teachers and paraprofessionals.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with faculty, parents, and external providers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field and 5+ years of experience in special education leadership.
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
- Proven ability to manage special education services, ensure efficient and effective delivery.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
