Caregiver Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver with Home Instead, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and conversation to help combat loneliness and isolation
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy living environment
  • Reminding clients of medications and appointments to ensure they stay on track
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence issues
  • Caring for clients with Alzheimer's and other dementias
