Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the North Shore Clinic in Kamloops, BC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated diseases, disorders, and conditions within your scope of practice.
- Monitor ongoing care, order diagnostic investigations, and analyze information to plan treatment.
- Establish priorities for patient care, provide follow-up treatment, and communicate with patients and families about health findings and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess and diagnose patient status, develop treatment plans, and admit patients to facilities as needed.
- Prescribe medications within statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditions for Nurse Practitioners.
- Assign work to other nursing and healthcare personnel, evaluate work, and provide education and supervision as necessary.
- Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Successful completion of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
- Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
