Interior Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the North Shore Clinic in Kamloops, BC.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services to our patients. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated diseases, disorders, and conditions within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice.
- Provide first-line care in emergencies and monitor ongoing care, ordering appropriate screening diagnostic investigations as needed.
- Establish priorities for patient management, provide follow-up treatment, and communicate with patients and families about health findings, diagnoses, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to assess and diagnose patient status, develop and implement treatment plans, and admit and discharge patients as necessary.
- Prescribe medications within statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditions for Nurse Practitioners.
- Assign work to other nursing and healthcare personnel, evaluate work, and provide education and supervision as needed.

Salary range for the position is $141,494 - $155,643. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications and experience of the applicant.
