We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Canadian Teleradiology Services, Inc. in Cobourg, ON. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures on patients, including abdomen, O.B./gyn., small parts, MSK, and breast scans.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all general ultrasound duties, including abdomen, O.B./gyn., small parts, MSK, and breast scans.
• Ensure patient identification, safety, and preparation are correct prior to a scan while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Greet patients, explain forthcoming tests, position patients, and prepare them for examinations.
• Observe patients during diagnostic procedures, making note of any symptoms or changes in vital signs and summon medical aid when necessary.
• Ensure all quality control assessments are performed as required, taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with related policies, health and safety legislation, and best practices.
• Follow procedures for proper equipment maintenance, as per department standards.
• Prepare and organize reports as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Candidates must have CMRTO certification.
• Ability to perform all types of ultrasound procedures on various types of ultrasound equipment.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
• Effective decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Additional Pay: Retention bonus

Ability to Commute/Relocate: Cobourg, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
