Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Section Design Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Test Section Design department, you will be responsible for designing and developing experimental test rigs to support the testing of our aircraft engines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop experimental test rigs to support the testing of aircraft engines
  • Plan and execute test programs to validate engine performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement test procedures and protocols
  • Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support test programs and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in test section design and experimental rig testing
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical drafting, physics, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and control systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
