Job Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and physical support to individuals with complex needs, fostering a safe and structured living environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging activity plans that encourage participation and promote personal growth.
  • Collaborate with clinical professionals and unit managers to share insights and guide treatment plans.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and experiences to improve care delivery.
  • Teach essential life skills, such as self-care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and building positive social connections.
  • Resolve conflicts with empathy and use behavior management strategies to guide participants through challenges.
  • Complete documentation and reports accurately, ensuring all agency standards are met.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma; certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care (CYC) or related field an asset.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults with behavioral, cognitive, mental health, or developmental challenges.

Salary and Benefits
