About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI/UX Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Wealth Management Technology team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and design of user interfaces and experiences across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement user interface and user experience design strategies to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
  • Oversee the support and continuous improvement of critical user interfaces, building strong relationships with key business and technical partners.
  • Manage a team of UI/UX professionals, providing design guidance and coaching to ensure high-quality designs.
  • Effectively manage the intake and backlog of requests from multiple business lines, driving delivery on a value-based, priority-driven manner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UI/UX design experience and 3+ years leading and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience delivering products in an Agile environment.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale multi-year projects/programs.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams on tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak with stakeholders, business partners, and developers.
  • Proficiency in key tools, including design software, workflow mapping, and collaboration tools.

This role is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with the option to work remotely.
