Job Title: Activities Assistant

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a engaging and enriching experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing resident-centered activities and programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure a balanced and diverse activity program that meets the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and schools to secure volunteer support and resources for our activities program.
  • Document and track resident participation and feedback to inform future activity planning.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that our activities program meets the highest standards of quality and care.
Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in a senior living community or a related field.
  • Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members to participate in social events and activities.
  • Current federal and state licenses, such as CDL or chauffeur license, as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate small group presentations and work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
