Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join our Policy and Planning Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading key initiatives outlined in the department's business and strategic plans, ensuring alignment with government and departmental objectives.
  • Conducting in-depth policy analysis to support labor, skills, and immigration priorities, providing recommendations for policy development and implementation.
  • Managing projects effectively, working with diverse groups to achieve department goals, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Evaluating legislative and regulatory tools to align with government and departmental objectives, providing expert advice to inform policy decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and at least six years of relevant experience or equivalent, with a strong background in policy analysis, project management, and communication. Key skills include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of government processes and policies, with a strong understanding of labor, skills, and immigration issues.
