About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team at Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited. As a Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, catering firm, fast food outlet or concession, bakery, banquet hall, or fine dining establishment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
