Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Battlefield Equipment Rentals. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Utilize hand and power tools
Work Environment:

As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of heavy-duty equipment. You will be required to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
