We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Litigation Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all conducted activities related to the Mortgage Enforcement process are compliant with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Vendor Management: Provide clear verbal and written communication to all Third-Party Suppliers, such as Law Firms and Property Managers, to ensure a Best-In-Class experience.
- Operational Efficiencies & Effectiveness: Continuously improve and recommend process enhancements to Service Level Agreements and/or Standard Operating Procedures, and verify accounting transactions to ensure accurate processing and posting.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Assist with the resolution of issues raised through the Branch network, Office of the President, Office of the Ombudsman, Public & Corporate Affairs, and conduct post-audit review at file closure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Collections, Litigation, or Bankruptcy.
- Two-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, or Undergraduate Degree in Accounting is an asset.
- Ability to deal effectively with Branch/Customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints and provide prompt and accurate resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate, motivate, and follow through on work/tasks assigned.
