We are seeking a dynamic Tax Manager to join our team in RSM's Private Client Services practice. This role is rooted in strong relationships based on a deep understanding of what matters most to our clients.

Our private client service offering features a team of strategic advisors who focus exclusively on helping business owners and high net worth families strengthen their wealth and minimize tax. We serve single to multi-generational private businesses operating nationally and internationally, as well as high net worth families with complex financial and tax requirements.

This role involves advising business owner clients on a full spectrum of business and tax opportunities, including succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance. You will also manage and oversee the engagement team focused on partnership, corporate, and trust entities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field, be a CPA license holder, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation and/or private client taxation.

You will collaborate with RSM colleagues in specialty tax areas and cross-line of business to build client relationships and support growth. As a leader, you will provide training and career mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
