Drywall Installer Job Description

Gurinder Drywall Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to ensure a smooth and even finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply and level coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Fills joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
