About the Role

This clinical position is an exciting opportunity to work as part of assessment and treatment teams in a dynamic and growing hospital setting. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will have the chance to work with individuals with chronic major mental illness and intellectual disabilities, often treatment resistant, in both the Forensic Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation departments within Saskatchewan Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit patient needs and develop individualized therapeutic plans that align with unit objectives.
  • Prioritize effective communication skills to engage patients and promote positive outcomes.
  • Design and deliver psychotherapy programs tailored to meet patient needs.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary discussions and decision-making processes regarding patient care.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • a PhD in Clinical Psychology
  • advanced communication skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $56,568 to $69,012 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic healthcare environment.
