Job Summary

Carstar Collingwood is seeking a skilled Body Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair department, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, and planning repair work to be performed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Plan repair work to be performed, including selecting the necessary materials and tools
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and functionality
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a seamless finish
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in the automotive industry
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
