Job Summary

Pepco Corp is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Maintain work areas
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Work Environment

As a Heavy Vehicle Technician with Pepco Corp, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to work on the road and in our maintenance facilities.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
