About the Opportunity



We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacy Team Lead to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for supporting the dispensary staff with day-to-day dispensary demands, developing and implementing training plans for new staff, and working collaboratively to improve efficiencies and dispensing processes.



The ideal candidate will have prior dispensary, clinical and teaching/preceptorship experience, with a strong ability to draw on this experience to support the team of dispensary staff. As preparation for the implementation of a new clinical information system begins, the successful candidate will be integral in early training, supporting workflow during the transition, and engaging in quality improvement and change management work.



About You



To be successful in this role, you will have a graduate degree in pharmacy, be eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists, and have completion of a hospital pharmacy residency program and/or equivalent related direct patient care experience in a hospital setting. You will also have experience with BDM Pharmacy software and hospital dispensary experience, as well as knowledge of medication patient safety therapeutics.



Hours and Compensation



This is a long-assignment position, with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule, and an annual salary range of $47.99 to $56.32 per hour. The successful candidate may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
