  • Provide exceptional customer service and support Farm Boy's vision of delivering the best fresh shopping experience.
  • Supervise department operations and provide floor support, including delegating tasks, breaks, and readiness for business.
  • Complete daily 2x2's for the department to ensure quality service standards are met.
  • Assist with the training of new team members and provide coaching while maintaining confidentiality and trust.
  • Contribute to department service assessments and ensure accurate storage and review of department orders and invoices.
  • Reset the department for the closing team and ensure it is ready for business.
  • Effectively communicate corporate and department information, changes, and updates.
  • Utilize Farm Boy Service Standards to welcome, greet, and offer customer assistance as required.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires partial completion of a post-secondary program, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Superior customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear and effective communication style, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work with little supervision with a high standard for quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English and French is an asset.
Work Environment:
  • Required to stand for long periods during shifts.
  • Required to lift, carry, or handle heavy objects.
  • May be required to perform repetitive and/or precise hand/finger movements.
  • Required to adapt to temperature changes on occasion.
