About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Consultant to join our dynamic team at Turner & Townsend in Toronto. As a key member of our Real Estate team, you will play a crucial role in supporting top clients and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive Loan Monitoring reports to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and other consultants through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct research on construction market conditions across Canada, analyzing official data to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients, working closely with Senior Consultants and Associate Directors.
  • Ensure knowledge management best practices are followed, capturing key information and learning from each commission.
  • Participate in quality control processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contributing to ISO audits.
  • Support feasibility studies and write procurement reports, providing valuable insights to clients.
  • Contribute to value engineering and life cycle costing initiatives, driving cost savings and efficiency.
  • Work closely with commission managers to ensure commissions are delivered to the highest quality standards, on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in loan monitoring or lender services.
  • A recognized university degree in a relevant field.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations, such as CIQS or RICS, is a plus.
