Meat Cutting Specialist

Job SummaryThis role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging meats to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cut carcasses, sides and quarters, cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats.
- Maintaining High Standards: Ensure all meats are handled and displayed safely and attractively, meeting the high standards of our store.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on meat purchases.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to maintain a smooth operation and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
- Skill Requirements: Attention to detail, accurate measurements, and efficient interpersonal skills.
$32,000 - $42,000 per year, depending on experience.
